King of the Highlands Original Painting

Original 48" by 60" painting, painted with acrylic on canvas

This painting was inspired by a recent trip to Italy, where I saw one of these highland cows up close during a hike. They have so much character, and I wanted to try to capture that in a colorful way. This painting was completed entirely in acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. All original paintings are shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity that contains identifying information about the piece, including limited edition numbering in the case of prints. Paintings are heavily packaged to prevent damage such as punctures and dents to the corners which can happen during shipping.
